Praying for LIFE

My journey in motherhood has definitely made me more and more passionate for LIFE...Nate and I are praying that Obama's heart would be changed quickly on the issue of abortion and that he would not sign the Freedom of Choice Act as he promised during his campaign.

In his inaugural address, Obama said "and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you..." I am praying that he will see these unborn children in the same light as he sees the "innocents" who are being slaughtered around the world in acts of terror. I'm praying that he will have dreams concerning the brutality of abortion that are so real, he wakes up reconsidering his promises on FOCA.

On Jan. 21, more than 100 members of the U.S. House of Representatives signed this excellent letter to President Obama asking that he withdraw his campaign pledge to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) and other pro-abortion rights laws. Please join me in praying that this letter will be affective in changing Obama's heart on FOCA.

In a July 17th speech Obama made on Roe v. Wade potentially being overturned, he commented, "There will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield." When I heard his promise not to yield my heart sank..."God! How will he ever be changed on this issue? His heart is set on this!" But God continues to remind me of Prov. 21:1. "The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes."
